Adam WarRock Drops ‘Browncoats’ Rap Mixtape in Honor of ‘Firefly’ [Music]
Just a few short weeks after the release of My New Warriors Mixtape, nerdcore rapper Adam WarRock has announced another collection of new songs based on one of the geek community’s most beloved institutions: Firefly, the short-lived sci-fi western television series (and spin-off feature film) created by Joss Whedon. Titled The Browncoats Mixtape, the record is produced by kHill of The ThoughtCriminals using only samples from the Firefly and Serenity scores and features cover art by comics artist Mike Norton (Queen & Country).
The Browncoats Mixtape doesn’t release until the fall, but you can preview a couple of tracks in this hype trailer.
