The ‘Man Of Steel’ Trailer Gets Supermanimated
While many were apprehensive about Man of Steel, the upcoming Superman film directed by Zack Snyder, the trailer released last week has left quite a few previous naysayers somewhere between “cautiously optimistic” and “ridiculously excited.” It’s also inspired video editor Jason Inman to cut clips from Superman the Animated Series over the new trailer, and you can check out above.

‘Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld’ Faces The Final Boss This Saturday On DC Nation

Amethyst’s DC Comics outlet in Sword of Sorcery may have been canceled, but fans of the sword-swinging, winged horse-riding princess still have one more animated adventure to catch as part of the Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld series of DC Nation shorts on Cartoon Network. The heroine’s sixth and final “level” will air this Saturday, March 2, and you can see a clip of Amethyst’s big boss battle — and catch up with the whole series so far — on ComicsAlliance!
The ‘DC Nation Farm League’ Returns For More Brooding And Narration [Video]

A few weeks ago, I wrote about how great it was that the “DC Nation” shorts on Cartoon Network put a spotlight onto some of DC’s lesser-known properties (like Amethyst), but occasionally, they swerve into entirely new takes on the stuff that’s already popular. Case in point, DC Nation Farm League, in which the JLA is reimagined as a bunch of animals hanging out on a farm. The first episode introduced us to Supermanatee, Wonder Wombat, and Shazham (a pig with a magic word, obviously), but now, things are getting a little darker.
This week, the Farm League returns with a focus on Batmongoose, voiced by The Brave and the Bold’s Diedrich Bader, as well as villains including Cat Cat, which might be the best idea ever.
